About getting drunk (2011): "Yes, I have tried spirits, we drink at 18 in the UK but I'm actually legal to drink here now, it's worth mentioning. Yes, yes I have. I got very very drunk once in my life as everyone does. Fine I got drunk, I have been drunk - and I'll bow to that!"

Twitter Update

You may have noticed a lack of activity on our twitter. Due to “technical problems” we haven’t been able to use it for a while. Ok, a long loonng while. I had pretty much given it up for lost, and was waiting for twitter to call it abandoned so we could reclaim it. With recent events, we just had to make one more big effort, and I’m happy to say our twitter is now back in action. We should be tweeting a little more regularly from now on.

Thank you for following us on twitter Emma.
I also want to thank all the new followers, and all the old followers who didn’t drop us even though we weren’t tweeting.

Emma “Excited for Noah”

In her latest tweets, Emma appears to confirm her involvement in Darren Aronofsky’s Noah. She first retweeted a couple of tweets from Russell Crowe (cast as Noah), and then followed with a tweet of her own.
@russellcrowe – I haven’t been approached by anyone to play Rupert Murdoch. That’s just a beat up.I am off to build a boat. Will be gone for quite some time.
@russellcrowe – no sails, no engine, runs purely on faith…does it bug anyone else that Noah’s sons are named in the bible…but not his wife…#re-write
@EmWatson – Very very excited for Noah.
Emma will reportedly “play Ila, a young woman who develops a close relationship with Noah’s son, Shem”, played by Douglas Booth. Other cast includes Emma’s Perks co-star Logan Lerman as Noah’s son Ham, and Jennifer Connelly as Noah’s wife, Naameh.
Shooting begins this August in New York.

Emma’s Q&A

Emma Watson has been answer fan submitted questions for a couple of weeks now. These can be seen on Emma’s Official Website or Facebook Page. Question #5 is relevant to post here because there has been so much recent discussion in the comment section about why Emma has been accepting smaller roles. Perhaps the answer will help with a lot of the debate.
Q: Lucy in My Week with Marilyn was a small role – why haven’t you been taking lead roles recently?
A: The reason I hadn’t at that point taken on a full length part and had been doing some modelling work was because I did not have the time to dedicate to a lead role in a full length film as I have been studying for my degree. These smaller roles have also given me the time to learn a few different methods of film making. Smaller, more independent films sometimes allow more room for me to learn and grow.

Emma in Talks for Role in Aronofsky’s Noah

In the latest casting rumour, Emma Watson is reportedly in talks to co-star in Noah, Darren Aronofsky’s adaption of the biblical story of Noah and the ark. Deadline and Variety both say Emma would “play Ila, a young woman who develops a close relationship with Noah’s son, Shem.” Russel Crowe is cast as Noah, Douglas Booth as Shem, and Logan Lerman as Ham, Noah’s other son.
Emma recently “followed” Aronofsky on twitter which does seem to support the rumour. We’ll have more information as it becomes available.
Update: Emma has been added to the cast on IMDB. We have not yet heard from Emma, but some sites are reporting that she has accepted. Ray Winstone is in talks now and it is rumored that Jennifer Connelly may play Noah’s wife.

Emma Reaches 5 Million Likes on Facebook
